About me

Hello,

I'm Sandy, wife, mother, grandmother, and mom to a very energetic German Shepherd who rules our hearts.  This is my story.

Growing up in Eastern Washington with small city life surrounded by hills and a highland desert climate, I've always had a love for all things western.  I started sewing in my teens and after moving to Texas to start the second phase of my life, I started experimenting with leather and cowhide, designing and making pillows and accessories for my home and family members, and handbags for myself and my sisters.  With so many new designs that I wanted to make, I knew I had to share my creations with others who love that unique handmade western style as much as I do, so From The West Designs was born.

All of my products are handmade by me in my home studio on the west side of Fort Worth Texas.
